An adventure trip offered by Perama Travel Club to explore the beauty of Lombok island, Sumbawa Coast, and great Komodo Island. The tour is designed with a lot of fun in mind, while offering insight in Komodo dragons. We will start from Lombok and end on the island of Flores with some stops along the way

Depart from SENGGIGI (09.00), from MATARAM (10.00) by PERAMA bus to Labuhan Lombok. On the way make some stops in traditional villages to see people’s daily life and visit traditional markets. MAS BAGIK is one of Lombok’s main pottery producing villages with old traditional Lombok designs. PERAMA DOCKING - see how people build a traditional phinisi boat and enjoy banana fritters served by Haji Materu. On the way to Kayangan Harbor we pass KAMPUNG PADAK, a fishermen’s village developed to become a tourist destination by Perama Center. Take a walk along a short trail to see the panorama of the village and their daily life, with outrigger boats, traditional docking, old harbor, and view of the top of Mt. Rinjani. Get on board, have lunch, then sail to Perama Resort – a small island with white sandy beaches, turquoise water with coral reefs & colorful fishes completed by a spectacular view of Mt. Rinjani. On the way we see traditional fishing boats along Lab. Lombok harbor. Around 15.00 we arrive at Perama Resort for fun activities such as swimming, snorkeling, playing volley ball and seeing the sunset. Perama invites you all to get involved in coral replantation, to not only enjoy Indonesia’s natural beauty, but also support it. Afterwards, enjoy a fish barbeque dinner and dancing/singing together around a bonfire. At 21.00 we leaves PERAMA Resort with nice memories while we sail over to Satonda Island.

(07.00) Arrive in Satonda island - a beautiful small island with a salt water lake inside. Go ashore, led by the guide to do morning exercise. Afterwards, go sightseeing around the island, hiking, bird watching and swimming in the lake. Afterwards we meet back to the boat for breakfast while sailing to DONGGO BEACH for snorkeling and other activities. (17.30) Leave Donggo by night to sail to Komodo Island. Dinner on board is included.

(08.00) We arrive at Komodo Island – the main highlight of the program. Have breakfast, then go ashore for HUNTING KOMODO by CAMERA. Led by two experiences rangers we walk through the jungle to find the Komodo dragons while enjoying the island’s mesmerizing flora & fauna. (11.30) Leave Komodo Island for Red Beach – an exotic white sandy beach with beautiful underwater reefs and tropical fish enjoyed best by snorkeling. Have lunch on board, then sail to Labuan Bajo. (16.00) Arrive at Lab. Bajo for our last excursions, such as a walk around town, watching the sunset and other interesting activities. (19.00) Get on board for a lively FAREWELL PARTY with dinner, entertainment by the crew and share experiences with the other guests. (23.00) The party ends and the West-East guests (HKC 01) leave the boat with a thousand unforgettable memories.

An adventure trip offered by Perama Travel Club to explore Rinca Island with its beautiful panorama and wild life of Komodo dragons and other animals. Make some stops along the way to Lombok island. Get on board on the mentioned date from Labuan Bajo harbor at 19.00. Have a welcome dinner on board, meet and share experiences with the other participants of HKC 01. At 23.00 the party ends, stay overnight on the boat in Labuan Bajo harbor.

Get on board at 18.00 – 19.00 to join our Welcome Dinner, meet and share experiences with the other participants of HKC 01. We sleep on board the boat.

(05.00) Depart from Labuan Bajo to RINCA ISLAND. At 06.00 you can enjoy the beautiful sunrise from the boat. Breakfast is served on board. Rinca is the second biggest island of the Komodo National Park. This place is not only home to Varanus Komodoensis but also home to wild animals such as the Sunda deer, wild buffalos, wild boars, the macaque monkey, wild horses and snakes. From Rinca the trip continues to GILI LABA for swimming and snorkeling. Then, we sail west to MOYO Island – a nature reserve. On the way we stop for dinner on board at WERA.

(08.00) Arrive in MOYO. After breakfast, get ashore and walk past Labuhan Haji Village to a water fall. Along the way see the local people’s daily activities. Relax and swim in the fresh-water pool of the water fall.
(12.00) Leave Moyo, have lunch on board while sailing westward to Keramat Island. Upon arrival, jump in the water (for the brave) or use the speed boat to cross to Keramat Island for snorkeling and swimming. This is the last activity of the HUNTING KOMODO BY CAMERA program. After the program the boat sails back to Labuhan Lombok. Upon arrival at Labuan Lombok harbor, have a farewell dinner on board, then leave the boat for a bus transfer to MATARAM or SENGGIGI.

Pasar Agung-Telaga Mas Temple

We walk past a tropical forest which takes 1½ hour. It is a pretty steep trail so be prepared for this hard start.

Telaga Mas Temple-Buffalo Stone

This trek is normally covered in 1 hour and still passes through tropical plantation. Here, similar to the first part of our trek, you will walk passed a pretty steep trail with loose volcanic sand and stone. This is an even more challenging trek .

Buffalo Stone-Summit

It takes about 1½ hour or less depending on your spirit and condition. It’s a great trip. At certain points you have to crawl and use your two hands to help you move along. Don’t try to stand upright. You’ll walk along stones and sediments of lava that have become as hard as stone itself.

When arriving on the summit overlooking the east you will be rewarded with a spectacular view of the sunrise and Mt. Rinjani all the way up in Lombok. If we look to the west you will have a view of Mt. Batu Karu, one of the holiest mountains on Bali Island.

Munduk Waterfall 1

We walk pass coffee and clove plantations for ½ hour. It is a pretty easy trail. This stage is a nice start to the rest of the trek.

Munduk Waterfall 2

This trek normally takes 45 minutes and passes through tropical plantation and the village of Gobleg on the slope of the hill. On this trek, you will pass a pretty steep trail of solid clay and bamboo trees around you. We stop at the local peoples’ houses to enjoy Balinese coffee and Balinese cake.

Munduk Waterfall 3

It takes about 45 minutes or less. Afterwards we will pass Salak plantations and rice terraces. After taking some pictures and a short break, we walk up to Munduk village following a steep but easy path.

On this trip you can see a variety of Balinese plantations such as : coffee, clove, cocoa, vanilla, coconut, salak (skin snake fruit), and other tropical spices and fruits.

Leaving from Senggigi at 5.00 am, we drive to Senaru and have breakfast.

At 08.00 we depart for trekking to post 2. We need about 4 hours and we will have lunch at post 2. From post 2 we go further on to post 3 on the rim of Mt. Rinjani ( Senaru ) about 4 hours. Have dinner and stay here overnight.

Day 02

Have breakfast and get ready. At 07.00 we leave for post 2 and we need about 3,5 hours before having lunch there. From post 2 we go further on to Senaru which takes about 3,5 hours. From Senaru we head back to Senggigi in about 2,5 hours.

Note:

The trail from Senaru to the rim is shaded and passes through the jungle. There are a lot of tree roots that we need to climb. The hardest point is about 1 hour before rim of the Mt. Rinjani.

From Senggigi at 05.00, drive to Senaru Climb up to Post 3 (6 hours). Stay here overnight.

Day 02

Climb up to the rim of Mt. Rinjani (West Plawangan) in 2 hours. You are rewarded with fantastic views of a small volcano growing up in the middle of Segara Anak Lake. It’s a 2 hours walk down to the lake. Stay here overnight.

Day 03

We get up at 07.00 a.m. and climb up to the rim, then down to Senaru. We take the Perama Bus to Senggigi or Mataram.

Depart from Senggigi at 10.00 a.m. and drive to the Nort West coast via Pusuk (Monkey Forest) and Segenter (Traditional Village). Lunch at Senaru (lunch box) then enjoy Sendang Gile waterfall. Have dinner and stay overnight at Pondok Senaru.

Day 02

Climb up to Post III (6 hours). Stay here overnight.

Day 03

Climb up to the rim of Mt. Rinjani (West Plawangan) in 2 hours. Enjoy the fantastic view of a small volcano growing up in the middle of Segara Anak Lake. It’s a 2 hours walk down to the lake. We stay here overnight.

Day 04

We get up at 07.00 a.m. and climb up to the rim, then down to Senaru. There we take the Perama Bus to Senggigi or Mataram

Depart from Senggigi at 05:00 and drive to Sembalun Lawang. At 08:30 climb up to Pelawangan II (East gate) in 8 hours. Stay overnight on the rim of Mt. Rinjani (Cemara Sewu).

Day 02

At 02:00 climb up to the summit, see the fantastic sunrise and head down to Pelawangan for breakfast. At 07:00, we leave Pelawangan and go down to the lake which takes 3 hours. We stay here overnight (camping).

Day 03

Climb up to another crater rim in 2 hours. Continue to post II and Senaru. Then we take the Perama Bus to Senggigi or Mataram.

We depart from Senggigi at 09:00 a.m. and drive along the North West coast via Pusuk (Monkey Forest) and Segenter (traditional village). We stay overnight at Pondok Sembalun.

Day 02

Climb up to Pelawangan II (East gate) in 8 hours. We stay overnight on the rim of Mt. Rinjani (Cemara Sewu).

Day 03

At 02:00 we climb up to the summit, see the fantastic sunrise and head down to Pelawangan for breakfast. At 07:00, we leave Pelawangan and descend to the lake which takes 3 hours. We stay here overnight (camping).

Day 04

We climb up to another crater rim in 2 hours. We continue to post II and Senaru. Then we take the Perama Bus to Senggigi or Mataram.

-Narmada is one of the most beautiful King Gardens that forms one of the legacies of the Balinese dynasty in Lombok.

-Sukarara is a village in central Lombok famous for its hand woven cloths called “Songket.”

-Penunjak village is well-known because of its earthenware production using clay and simple tools and hand crafting methods in Central Lombok.

-Kamasan is a small village located on the South of Semarapura, Klungkung. It is known as the historical and present day centre of classical painting of Wayang puppets.

-Sidemen is a village which offers a marvelous scenery of rice paddies. It is also a craft centre for Tedung (a traditional umbrella used in ceremonies).

-Tenganan Bali Aga village is occupied by Bali Aga people, descendants of the original Balinese who inhabited Bali prior to the Majapahit arrival. The village is surrounded by a wall, and consists of two rows of identical houses stretching up the gentle slope of the hill.

-Taman Ujung is an extensive, picturesque and crumbling ruin of a once-grand water palace complex.

-Tirta Gangga (Water of the Ganges river ) is an increasingly popular place. It’s quiet, offers excellent trekking in the region and a pretty water palace to admire.

-Amed: This corner of Bali is starting to attract visitors with good diving and snorkeling close to the shore. The coastline is superb and unspoiled, with views across to Lombok and back to Gunung Agung.

-Yeh Sanih is a idyllic spot where freshwater springs are channeled into some very pleasant swimming pools before flowing into the sea.

-Kubu Tambahan Temple is dedicated to agricultural spirits, and specifically irragation. This temple is particularly noted for its sculptured panels, including the famous depiction of a gentleman riding a bicycle with flower petals for wheels.

-Kamasan is a small village located on the South of Semarapura, Klungkung. It is known as the historical and present day centre of classical painting of Wayang puppets.

-Sidemen is a village which offers a marvelous scenery of rice paddies. It is also a craft centre for Tedung (a traditional umbrella used in ceremonies).

-Tenganan Bali Aga village is occupied by Bali Aga people, descendants of the original Balinese who inhabited Bali prior to the Majapahit arrival. The village is surrounded by a wall, and consists of two rows of identical houses stretching up the gentle slope of the hill.
