BANGKOK, Jan. 28 (Xinhua) — Thailand’s rice exports reached a six-year high in 2024, with a total volume of 9.95 million tons, marking a 13 percent increase from a year earlier, official data showed on Tuesday.

The Southeast Asian nation’s rice export value last year amounted to 225.66 billion baht (about 6.43 billion U.S. dollars), accounting for a rise of 27 percent compared to 2023, according to the Ministry
