MANILA, Nov. 18 (Xinhua) — The Philippines reported 1,774 new COVID-19 infections on Friday, bringing the number of confirmed cases in the Southeast Asian country to 4,023,798.

The Department of Health (DOH) said the number of active cases rose to 19,267, while 17 more patients died from COVID-19 complications, taking the death toll to 64,458.
