YANGON, March 3 (Xinhua) — Myanmar reported 1,819 new COVID-19 infections with a daily positivity rate of 8.43 percent on Thursday, according to a statement from the Ministry of Health.

The new infections brought the total tally to 593,958, including 541,648 recoveries from the pandemic in the Southeast Asian country.
