KUALA LUMPUR, March 21 (Xinhua) — Malaysia reported 19,105 new COVID-19 infections as of midnight Sunday, bringing the national total to 3,993,124, according to the health ministry.

There are 386 new imported cases, with 18,719 being local transmissions, data released on the ministry’s website showed.

A further 71 deaths have been reported, bringing the death toll to 34,400.
