KUALA LUMPUR, May 22 (Xinhua) — Chinese shuttlers put up a strong performance on Day 2 of the 2024 badminton Malaysia Masters at the Axiata Arena here on Wednesday.

Lu Guangzu overpowered Lee Chia Hao of Chinese Taipei 23-21, 21-12, and Li Shifeng beat France’s Toma Junior Popov 12-21, 21-19, 21-15 in the men’s singles.

On the women’s side, singles top seed Han Yue outclassed Malaysia’s Letshanaa Karupat
