ISTANBUL, May 23 (Xinhua) — Three people were killed and five others wounded on Thursday in an armed clash between two groups in Türkiye’s largest city Istanbul.

The Istanbul governor’s office said in a press release that the confrontation originated at a cafe in the bustling Uksudar district on the Asian side of the city at around 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT).
