SINGAPORE, Dec. 5 (Xinhua) — The Department of Statistics (DOS) of Singapore announced on Monday that the country’s retail sales grew by 10.4 percent year on year in October, following the 11.3 percent year-on-year increase recorded in the previous month.

Excluding motor vehicles, retail sales grew by 14.3 percent in October, compared to the 16.9 percent growth in September.
