HANOI, Feb. 8 (Xinhua) — Vietnam earned about 4 billion U.S. dollars from exporting phones and components in January, according to the country’s General Statistics Office on Wednesday.

The number accounted for 15.9 percent of the country’s total export revenue over the period and posted a year-on-year decrease of 18.6 percent.

With the revenue, phones and components continued to be Vietnam’s largest expo
