HANOI, Oct. 2 (Xinhua) — Vietnam’s manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) posted 49.7 points in September, back below the 50.0, no-change mark following a reading of 50.5 in August, according to S&P Global Market Intelligence’s report released on Monday.

The index signalled a deterioration in business conditions for Vietnamese manufacturers, the report found.
