HANOI, Aug. 25 (Xinhua) — Vietnam recorded 3,346 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, down by 245 from Wednesday, according to its Ministry of Health.

All the new cases were locally transmitted, said the health ministry.

The newly reported infections brought the total tally to 11,396,205. The country reported two new deaths from the pandemic in the southern provinces of Ba Ria-Vung Tau and Tay Ninh on Thursda
