HANOI, Jan. 22 (Xinhua) — Vietnam reported 15,707 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, including 15,658 locally transmitted and 49 imported, according to its Ministry of Health.

The Vietnamese capital Hanoi remained the locality with highest number of 2,945 infections on Saturday, followed by central Da Nang city with 973 cases and northern Hai Phong city with 745 cases.
