HANOI, Sept. 2 (Xinhua) — Vietnam reported 13,197 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, including 13,186 locally transmitted and 11 imported, according to the country’s Ministry of Health.

The new infections brought the country’s total tally to 486,727, with 12,138 deaths, the ministry said.
