HANOI, Nov. 2 (Xinhua) — Vietnam reported 5,637 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, including 5,613 locally transmitted and 24 imported, according to the country’s Ministry of Health.

Most of the community cases were detected in southern localities, including 858 in Dong Nai province, 780 in Binh Duong province, and 682 in Ho Chi Minh City.
