HANOI, Vietnam: Due to a scene featuring a map that shows China’s unilaterally claimed territory in the South China Sea, Vietnam’s state media said the country has banned the Warner Bros film, “Barbie.”

Chinese maps use the U-shaped “nine-dash line” to highlight Beijing’s claims over areas of the South China Sea, including regions on its continental shelf where it has awarded oil concessions.
