YANGON, June 16 (Xinhua) — A town in southern Myanmar experienced its lowest temperature in 58 years on Thursday, according to the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology.

Theinzayat, a town of southern Myanmar’s Mon State, logged its lowest temperature in 58 years at 18.8 degrees centigrade, the weather bureau said.
