DHAKA, Bangladesh – Border Guard Police (BGP) from Myanmar are said to have fired mortar shells at the Bangladesh-Myanmar border in Bandarban’s Naikhongchhari.

On Sunday, around 2 p.m., the incident was reported from Tumbru no-man’s land.

Three mortar shells were hurled from the other side quickly, instilling fear in the locals and Rohingyas.

The area where the shells were lobbed has been cordoned
