YANGON, Feb. 16 (Xinhua) — One student was killed and 10 others were injured in a mine blast in western Myanmar’s Sagaing region on Wednesday, the Information Team of Myanmar’s State Adminstration Council (SAC) reported.

The incident happened at around 1 p.m. local time (0630 GMT) when a vehicle carrying a group of school children hit the mine in Ayadaw township of Sagaing region, it said.
