COLOMBO, Aug. 1 (Xinhua) — Sri Lanka’s foreign exchange earnings in June 2024 from exports, remittances and gross services, exceeded imports by 586 million U.S. dollars, latest data from the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) showed.

Exports for June were 1.08 billion dollars, remittances were 519.6 million dollars, and gross services, including tourism, were 436.2 million dollars, the CBSL data showed.
