COLOMBO, July 30 (Xinhua) — The Sri Lankan government has approved a proposal to import eggs to stabilize market prices and ensure adequate supplies during the upcoming festive seasons, the government’s information department said on Tuesday.

The department said Minister of Trade, Commerce and Food Security Nalin Fernando submitted the proposal for the import of eggs.
