COLOMBO, Nov. 1 (Xinhua) — Sri Lanka Customs recorded its highest revenue for the year in October, its media spokesman said on Wednesday.

Customs media spokesman Sivali Arukgoda told reporters that the customs earned more than 109 billion rupees (333 million U.S. dollars) in revenue in October.

He said the revenue rose due to the streamlining of the process and the increase in the efficiency of tax colle
