KABUL, March 2 (Xinhua) — Freezing weather and snowfall have led to 15 deaths in Afghanistan as a cold spell persists in parts of the Central Asian country, reported the private media outlet Tolonews on Saturday.

“As a result of heavy snowfall in some provinces of the country over the past three days, 15 people have died, and nearly 30 others have been injured,” the report said.
