SINGAPORE, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) — Singapore reported 956 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, bringing the total tally of the disease in the country to 290,986.

Of the new cases, 552 were in the community, 404 were imported cases, according to statistics released by the Ministry of Health (MOH).
