SINGAPORE, Dec. 15 (Xinhua) — Singapore reported 3.7 million tonnes of carbon emission in its public sector in the 2022 financial year, 5.3 percent less than the FY 2020 baseline, according to a report issued by the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment Friday.

The environmental sustainability report credited less carbon emission to the closure of a major incineration plant in 2022.
