KHAIRPUR, Pakistan – On Monday, a wedding party of 11 people faced a heartbreaking calamity when the boat they were traveling on capsized in Canal Nara, near Sindh’s Khairpur district.

Five of the eleven people were rescued by locals who acted quickly to save the fortunate ones. The search for the remaining individuals is underway on the orders of Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori, who was alerted to the incident.
