SEOUL, Dec. 16 (Xinhua) — South Korea’s currency swap deal with the United States will expire by the end of 2021 as scheduled, the Bank of Korea (BOK) said Thursday.

The 60-billion-U.S. dollar temporary contract between the BOK and the U.S. Federal Reserve will terminate on Dec. 31 as financial and economic situations at home and abroad remained stable, the BOK said in a statement.
