KATHMANDU, Oct. 4 (Xinhua) — Rustam Nabiev, a Russian double amputee, has successfully scaled Mt. Manaslu, the world’s eighth highest peak located in western Nepal, the expedition’s organizer said Monday.

“The 28-year-old climber used his hands to pull himself up to the summit of Mt. Manaslu standing 8,163 meters high at 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 2,” Mingma Sherpa, managing director of Imagine Nepal Trek and Expeditio
