UNITED NATIONS, Nov. 4 (Xinhua) — Climate change could be twice as deadly as cancer in some parts of the world if carbon emissions remain high, according to new data released on Friday by the UN Development Programme (UNDP) and the Climate Impact Lab.

Using Dhaka, Bangladesh, as an example, according to the study, additional deaths from climate change would be nearly twice the country’s current all-cancer death
