DHAKA, Bangladesh – The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) is preparing to beef up security for political party gatherings on October 28.

RAB will set up checkpoints at the city’s entrances to prevent individuals carrying firearms or explosives intended for sabotage from entering. Checkpoints will also be installed in strategic locations throughout the city.
