ISLAMABAD, Pakistan – After reaching a final decision not to allow Imran Khan’s ‘Azadi March’ on the capital, the government arrested hundreds of PTI leaders and workers on Tuesday to derail the party’s plans for a massive power show in Islamabad.

Section 144 was imposed in all major cities across the country, while the Punjab government sought to deploy Rangers to maintain law and order.
