ISLAMABAD, Jan. 12 (Xinhua) — A policeman was injured in firing by unknown gunmen in Pakistan’s southwest Balochistan province, police officials said on Friday.

According to the police, unknown people riding on a motorcycle opened fire at the policeman appointed on the security of polio workers in the Eastern Bypass area of Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan province.
