GENEVA, Nov. 30 (Xinhua) — The Philippines tipped off a volunteer program for the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023, local organizers announced via the world basketball governing body on Wednesday.

The 2023 World Cup will start on August 25 and will be held in the Philippines, Japan and Indonesia, with the Philippines to host half of the group stage matches and the entire final phase.
