MANILA, Nov. 8 (Xinhua) — The Philippines reported 694 new COVID-19 infections on Tuesday, pushing the number of confirmed cases in the Southeast Asian country to 4,011,625.

The country’s Department of Health (DOH) said the number of active cases fell to 16,034, while seven more patients died from COVID-19 complications, pushing the country’s death toll to 64,298.
