MANILA, Nov. 2 (Xinhua) — The Philippines’ Department of Health (DOH) reported 2,303 new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) infections on Tuesday, raising the number of confirmed cases in the Southeast Asian country to 2,792,656.

The DOH also reported that 128 more people have died from COVID-19 complications, bringing the country’s death toll to 43,404. Eight laboratories failed to submit data.
