RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Pervaiz Shaukat, a senior journalist and president of the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ), passed away in Rawalpindi.

His family confirmed that Shaukat died in Rawalpindi. The funeral prayer for the deceased will be offered at 4pm at Dhok Ratta graveyard.

Shaukat, with a career spanning over 50 years, had been actively involved in journalism, notably working for a prom
