ISLAMABAD, Feb. 12 (Xinhua) — Remittances sent by overseas Pakistani workers increased by 26.2 percent in January 2024 on a year-on-year basis, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said on Monday.

The workers’ remittances recorded an inflow of 2.3971 billion U.S. dollars in January as compared to 1.9001 billion dollars in the same month of the previous year.

Meanwhile, the remittances increased by 0.6 percen
