ISLAMABAD, Jan. 4 (Xinhua) — The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said on Thursday that its foreign exchange reserves had increased by 464 million U.S. dollars to reach around 8.2 billion dollars by Dec. 29.

The increase occurred “mainly due to receipt of official government’s inflows,” the SBP said in a statement.
