ISLAMABAD, July 1 (Xinhua) — Pakistan reported 694 new COVID-19 cases during the last 24 hours, the country’s ministry of health said on Friday.

The tally of infected people increased to 1,536,479 after adding the new cases, according to the data released by the ministry.

A total of 30,395 people died from COVID-19 in Pakistan, with no more deaths recorded on Thursday, according to the ministry’s statist
