ISLAMABAD, Oct. 16 (Xinhua) — Pakistan reported 46 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, the country’s ministry of health said on Sunday.

The overall tally of infected people increased to 1,573,365 after adding the new cases, according to the data released by the ministry.

A total of 30,620 people had died of COVID-19 in Pakistan, with no new death reported in the country, according to the ministry.
