ISLAMABAD, Jan. 2 (Xinhua) — Pakistan’s inflation measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 29.7 percent year-on-year in December 2023, the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) said on Monday.

According to the data released by the bureau, the CPI inflation grew by 0.8 percent on a month-on-month basis last month.
