ISLAMABAD, Pakistan -Pakistan is in diplomatic contact with Iran to resolve the ongoing disagreement over the Pak-Iran gas pipeline, according to government officials.

The talks came after Iran announced its intention to take the subject to an arbitration court next month.

According to government sources, Pakistan is investigating diplomatic channels to reach a negotiated settlement to the situation.
