ISLAMABAD, Dec. 24 (Xinhua) — Pakistan on Friday expressed condolences over the loss of lives in a deadly ferry accident in Jhalokati district, about 200 km south of the Bangladeshi capital city of Dhaka.

The government and the people of Pakistan are deeply saddened by the loss of lives in the accident, the Foreign Ministry of Pakistan said in a statement.
