ISLAMABAD, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) — Pakistan on Wednesday confirmed 1,742 new COVID-19 cases and 39 more deaths, the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) said on Thursday.

The NCOC, the country’s department leading the campaign against the pandemic, said the country’s total cases have risen to 1,245,127, including 1,169,566 recoveries.
