COLOMBO, Sept. 15 (Xinhua) — Sri Lankan authorities have completed vaccinating over 50 percent of the country’s total population with both doses of COVID-19 vaccines, Cabinet Co-Spokesperson Dullas Alahapperuma was quoted by local media as saying Wednesday.

Alahapperuma said Sri Lanka was one of the few countries that had vaccinated over 50 percent of its total population.
