VIENTIANE, Dec. 20 (Xinhua) — A total of 1,896 new HIV cases were reported in Laos from January to November 2024, bringing the cumulative total to 22,584 cases since 1990, according to a recent report from the Ministry of Health.

The report, from the Center of Information and Education for Health under the Lao Ministry of Health, noted that the National AIDS Committee meeting was held recently to review efforts
