YANGON, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) — Myanmar’s authorities seized over 0.6 million ecstasy tablets worth over 28 billion kyats (13.3 million U.S. dollars) in Shan state, the state-run media citing police sources reported on Sunday.
Acting on a tip-off, anti-narcotic police raided a house in Tachilek township of eastern Shan state at around 10:30 a.m. local time on Nov. 21, and confiscated the drugs.
