YANGON, Nov. 5 (Xinhua) — Myanmar confirmed 90 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, bringing the total tally to 632,229, according to the Ministry of Health on Saturday.

The ministry said in a statement that the health authorities tested 9,389 people for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, and the daily positivity rate was 0.96 percent.

The death toll from COVID-19 in the country reached 19,485 on Satu
