YANGON, Sept. 2 (Xinhua) — Myanmar reported 3,459 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the tally in the country to 406,099 on Thursday, according to a statement from the Ministry of Health.

The death toll has increased to 15,600 on Thursday after 110 more deaths were reported, the statement said.
