YANGON, Feb. 24 (Xinhua) — Myanmar reported 2,938 new COVID-19 cases, with a daily positivity rate of 10.31 percent on Thursday, according to a release from the Ministry of Health.

The number of confirmed cases in the Southeast Asian country has increased to 578,446, said the ministry.

The ministry also reported four additional deaths from COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 19,353.
