YANGON, Aug. 19 (Xinhua) — Myanmar reported 2,590 new COVID-19 infections with 159 more deaths in the past 24 hours, according to a release from the Ministry of Health on Thursday.

The release said that the number of COVID-19 infections has risen to 365,759 while its death toll increased to 13,945 so far.
